Before reporting on Panama Papers, Will was a reporter on ICIJ’s Swiss Leaks project and collaborated with more than a dozen journalists from across Africa on the project Fatal Extraction. Before coming to Washington, he worked at The Bureau of Investigative Journalism (TBIJ) in London.

Ramsey G. TesdellRamsey George loves working with communities around the Middle East on storytelling and technology as an outlet of expression, to develop spaces for critical conversations and to build progressive and sustainable new media. Ramsey is the program director for Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism, ARIJ.net. A co-founder of 7iber.com, Ramsey has worked with thousands of youth in Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Libya, Tunisia, and Morocco. Currently living in Amman, Jordan with his wife, Ramsey was raised in rural America to a Palestinian mother and an American father. He has a B.S. in rhetoric and communication and an M.S. in technical communication. Speakers
Hamoud AlmahmoudHamoud Almahmoud (Syria) joined the staff of Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ) in 2014 as a Researcher, to establish ARIJ’s MENA Research & Data Desk as part of a “follow the money” investigation project in cooperation between ARIJ and OCCRP- Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project. Working with ARIJ as an investigative reporter in Syria from 2006, he advanced as an ARIJ coach, supervising new investigative reporters from Syria. Almahmoud has a Master’s Degree in Media and Communications, and has received many fellowships and advanced training opportunities at BBC, Reuters, IREX, IMF, Swedish TV and OCCRP. He won a regional prize with Thomson Reuters in investigative journalism in 2008. He also serves as a speaker and trainer at many regional and global investigative journalism conferences. Previously, he edited Al Iqtisadi leading business magazine and Aliqtisadi.com portal (Syria). He was lecturer at Damascus University ‘s Faculty of Media, Radio and TV Department, teaching Investigative Journalism. (2013-2014). He was an economic expert at Carnegie Middle East Center (CMEC) and UN ESCWA--Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia in 2013. 
Vanessa WormerVanessa Wormer is a data journalist at Süddeutsche Zeitung in Munich and member of the Panama Papers investigation team. In 2015 she passed the Lede Program in Computing and Data Science at Columbia Journalism School in New York City. Vanessa is curious about how technology can help to enhance journalism and to widen one's investigative skill set.
